Psyomics is hiring research assistants to interview study participants over the telephone as part of an upcoming clinical investigation into mental health. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, the ability to work from home, and the opportunity to contribute to world-leading research into the evaluation of mental health.
Title: Telephone Research Assistant
Hours and location: Between 12 and 16 hours per week, flexible times, work from home. Availability at limited times (only during the day, nights, or weekends) is acceptable.
Start date and commitment: Paid in-person training March 20-22. Study runs April-September 2018; commitment is required for training and through entire study.
- Fluent English speaker
- Internet and landline phone access in a quiet environment to conduct interviews
- Ability to forecast availability for four weeks in advance at a time
Telephone research assistants will conduct approximately 1 hour, structured, and scientifically validated interviews with study participants who have already answered a series of online questionnaires. Research assistants then report results into a centralized trial database. To perform these tasks, a laptop, headset, and phone number masking service will be provided. Availability to attend monthly in-person group meetings is preferred. Research assistants will have access to a clinical psychologist to support the team and answer any questions.
Other duties include research into local mental health services and support for trial operations. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a small team (reporting directly to trial manager), contribute tangibly to cutting-edge investigation in mental health, and make a difference in the lives of the 1 in 4 people in the U.K. who suffer from mental health challenges each year.
