Job Description: Neuroscientist, Target Validation

We are seeking a highly motivated cell biologist to work within a multidisciplinary target validation and drug discovery team based in our Cambridge, UK laboratories. The role will have a broad impact across the drug discovery portfolio from target identification, selection through target validation and pharmacological testing.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience of designing, developing and carrying out cellular assays to assess the biological function and mechanistic understanding of target modulation.

• Have hands on experience in cell culture and cell biology laboratory techniques with experience with both cell lines and primary cell culture is an advantage, although training will be provided.

• Be organised and flexible whilst ensuring high standards and attention to detail.

• Collaborate with colleagues across the company, contributing to regular data reviews and project strategy discussions.

• Have a excellent communication skills, a strong team ethic and the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly to achieve company goals.
