After a 3-year hiatus, we are delighted to be back with a new team to bring you what we hope is the first of many exciting Software Crafters Cambridge meetups to help you reconnect, gain new skills and meet new friends along the way!

For our first event, we're hosting a Coding Dojo at the Bradfield Centre (our huge thanks to the team at the venue for sponsoring the space and their support). Join us for an evening of coding, food and drinks! Come and code along, share ideas, discuss best practices and learn from other community members and our team of expert coaches.

What’s the format?
After a short intro, we’ll get into groups/pairs or work solo, whatever people feel most comfortable with, and start building.

You choose how you want to work and what language you want to code in. This session is about collaborating with others, becoming a better developer and building your network, in a fun, relaxed environment.

We'll be sharing ideas, discussing best practices and using this as an opportunity to learn from our fellow Software Crafters Cambridge coders.

Pizza and drinks will be provided, kindly sponsored by Codurance, with vegetarian and vegan options available. All you need to do is bring a machine if you’d like to code along.

A huge thanks to Tom Wright and Clare Macrae for their support to our new team as we take over the management of this wonderful tech community in Cambridge. We also have the support of the following people that live or work in the Cambridge region and will be providing their expertise on the night:

  • Brice Fernandes, Capgemini (Cambridge Consultants)
  • Daniel Vaughan, Mastercard
  • Jocelyn Facchini, Codurance
  • Rowan Lea, Codurance
