How to stay safe when e-biking or e-scooting

VOI is committed to ensuring all riders of their e-bikes and e-scooters are safe which is why they have invested heavily in rider-safety training ‘Ride Like Viola’. The VOI team are hosting a safety event on Wednesday 22 September 12:00 – 14:00 at the Trinity Centre car park that will include a brief explanation of 'How to VOI" and road safety tips.
You will also have the chance to try an e-bike or e-scooter in a coned off area, and you will receive a free VOI helmet ( on a first come first served basis). Voi will also reward you with £5 worth of credit for completing and passing the test. Ride Like Viola is the first accredited e – scooter school.
The session will last around 20-30 minutes.
Please note you will need to bring your driving licence to take part.
The Voi team will be on site until 16:00 - there is no need to book between 14:00 and 16:00.
