R&D Laboratory Technician

TwistDx Ltd is looking for an R&D laboratory technician to carry out routine laboratory work to support the development of in vitro diagnostic assays using the RPA technology. We are looking for someone with strong molecular biology laboratory skills to work within a small team in our R&D department on specific projects.

The main responsibility of this role is to process and purify DNA from complex biological mixtures including amplification reactions. You will be part of the team who are responsible for general laboratory housekeeping duties within the R&D department. You will also be responsible for the performance of routine equipment maintenance and calibration, completion of data analysis, and participating in process improvement to ensure continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

This role is based at our R&D department on Babraham Research Park, Cambridge or at our facility near the Cambridge Science Park, Milton road.
