Next generation Xaar 1002 printhead range makes global debut at Inprint 2014

  • Date 8 Apr 2014

Visitors to the Xaar booth will discover how manufacturers globally are taking advantage of Xaar’s inkjet technology to drive down costs, reduce waste, improve process efficiency and move to just-in-time production.

The Xaar 1002 family provides a choice of printheads capable of jetting drop sizes from 1 pL up to 84 pL for a broad range of applications: from highly precise fine patterning for advanced manufacturing all the way to ceramic tile decoration and printing high viscosity varnishes and high opacity whites onto labels and packaging. Today leading manufacturers worldwide, in sectors ranging from ceramics and labels to direct-to-shape packaging and laminate flooring, choose Xaar printheads because they are extremely precise, exceptionally versatile, incredibly reliable, and designed for high-volume production. Now emerging and cutting-edge advanced manufacturing systems for the production of solar cells, semiconductor wafers and touch screens for tablets and mobile phones are powered by Xaar printheads.

The power of Xaar inkjet technology for a variety of industrial applications will be shown by several companies at InPrint, including: Bergstein Digital BV, Cyan Tec, Hymmen, Integration Technology, INX Digital, Nazdar, Notion Systems and SPG Prints.

“The power of Xaar printheads to transform manufacturing processes is hugely exciting,” says Mark Alexander, Director of Marketing at Xaar and InPrint Ambassador. “Xaar technology has already had a substantial impact on a number of industries but has considerable potential to impact many more.  InPrint, running alongside HANNOVER MESSE 2014, is an ideal event to show process engineers why Xaar technology is so successful and explore how it can benefit their own specific applications.”
