Lucideon to Host Cambridge Science Park Networking Reception

  • Date 21 Apr 2016

Lucideon, the international materials technology company, will host a science networking reception on Thursday 16 June 2016, 5 – 7pm, at The Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park. The reception will bring together professionals from scientific organisations, academia and industry, from Cambridge Science Park and further afield.

The wine and canapés reception follows on from the success of last year’s networking event in November. Once again, Lucideon has brought together an exciting list of speakers; this includes AstraZeneca’s Executive Director, Stratified Medicine Studies (Oncology), Simon Hollingsworth, the Knowledge Transfer Network’s (KTN’s) Manager for Advanced Composites, Ajay Kapadia, and their own Healthcare Development Scientist, Ben McCarthy. The reception is free to attend.

Aia Malik, Product Manager, Lucideon, said:

“The science community has great collaboration opportunities between industries, companies and academia; the Cambridge Science Park offers the perfect setting for this type of thinking.

“We are pleased to have great speakers who will focus their presentations on the value and opportunities in research and collaborative innovation.”

Within Lucideon, the Healthcare Materials Technologies division focuses on the development of novel technologies. These technologies are borne out of Lucideon’s materials expertise, in-depth knowledge of industry challenges and their ability to cross-fertilize ideas, knowledge, and technologies, across sectors.

Headquartered at the Cambridge Science Park, Lucideon’s team of dedicated scientists works closely with their analytical teams, chemical engineers and process engineers in the USA and the UK to develop the next generation of products and bring them to market speedily.
