FlexEnable, the leader in the development and industrialisation of organic electronics for flexible displays and sensors, has announced that the company’s CEO Chuck Milligan has been elected as a member of OE-A’s new Board of Directors during the annual General Assembly in Munich, Germany.

OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) is the leading international industry association for the emerging technology of organic and printed electronics. The Board represents the broad spectrum of OE-A members – covering the whole value chain and reflects the international approach of the OE-A.

Chuck Milligan said: “I am delighted to be part of OE-A’s new international Board of Directors. During my mandate I will work to continue to strengthen OE-A’s position as the leading organisation for organic and printed electronics on a global basis, such that members can leverage the OE-A platform to create partnerships and achieve growth.”

“The organic and printed electronics industry has developed immensely in the last 15 years and many products are ready for real applications. FlexEnable’s Organic LCD technology, which is going to be in mass production this year, is just one example of how organic electronics can be industrialised and enable game-changing products.”, concluded Milligan.

Stan Farnsworth, NovaCentrix, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Xioalin Yan, Guangdong JUHUA Printing, is confirmed as Vice Chairman for Asia. Dr. Alain Schumacher, IEE, and Richard Ellinger, American Semiconductor, are elected in their positions as Vice Chairman Europe and North America respectively.
