At Gearset, we build a cutting-edge release management solution for the millions of developers building applications on Salesforce, the world's biggest enterprise PaaS. In only a few years, Gearset has become the leading DevOps solution for the Salesforce platform, used by companies ranging from household names like Sonos, through tech unicorns like Intercom, all the way to Fortune 500s like McKesson.
Gearset has grown from 7 people in 2017 to around 150 people today, all without the need for VC. And things show no sign of slowing. We've got a large, engaged, and passionate customer base who love giving us feedback. We're now at the critical juncture where we need to build on our already successful product management function at Gearset.
What’s the opportunity?
Joining our growing and experienced product team, you'll report directly to the co-founder and CPO, helping to define our roadmap across a number of product areas. You'll partner with engineering leads and UX specialists to research, understand and solve user problems, and work closely with the engineering teams themselves to bring your visions to life.
You'll do all of this with the help of a passionate and experienced cross-functional team, with a laser focus on delighting our users. We've got a clear product strategy and some big plans ahead of us, that you'll help us shape and deliver, and the solutions you build will revolutionise development processes for thousands of businesses around the world.
Working as a Product Manager at Gearset you will:
- Talk to users every day, build relationships with them, and deeply understand the challenges they're facing with the PaaS and SaaS platforms they rely on
- Research and understand user problems, and create solutions to them, from inception through to release and beyond
- Work on multiple product areas, helping to define their strategies and roadmaps
- Work with an amazing cross-functional team - alumni of Microsoft, EA, Apple and Cambridge University to name a few - to help make Gearset the most effective DevOps solution for Salesforce customers
You'll be a good fit if you:
- Have at least a few years of experience working as a PM
- Love talking to customers
- Are great at distilling research into key problems, and defining solutions to solve them
- Have an infectious passion for building products that solve users problems, and inspiring a team to join you on that journey
- Have fantastic attention to detail
- Have worked alongside technical product teams before
- Have at least some software engineering experience, even if only limited
- Enjoy working with a collaborative team of varied disciplines, including developers, designers, marketers and salespeople
A little on our Salary and Benefits:
- Salary is £65 - £80k, depending on experience
- You'll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the option of flexible home working
