Marketing Coordinator

Overview

The Royal Society of Chemistry is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused person to join our marketing team at an exciting period of development.

As the marketing coordinator, you will be working to assist in the effective delivery of impactful, marketing campaigns that attract attention, inspire involvement and show researchers, teachers and students around the world exactly how the Royal Society of Chemistry can support them to do their best work. You will have the opportunity to project manage campaign activity to support our thriving business.

You will be based in our office in Cambridge, as part of a team of marketers all passionate about making a difference through what they do.

We are looking for someone with:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to manage the needs and expectations of customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Sound project coordination and project management skills.
• Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to co-ordinate multiple activities successfully, to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Sound understanding of marketing principles and creative flair for marketing and communications.
• Willingness to actively participate in meetings and discussions, with evidence of successful use of problem solving skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability with an ability to respond to changing needs.
• A passion for science/chemistry.
