The Royal Society of Chemistry has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Lead to work with our workstream leads to devise and deliver a comprehensive Internal Communications strategy for a complex change management project to foster behavioural and cultural change and maximise long-term organisational benefits.

 

In this integral role, you will also assist our Internal Communications Manager in providing strategic advice and guidance to senior team members and hands-on support. You will also be part of an integrated team of specialists in digital, news & media and corporate communications with access to design, marketing and event management teams.  

 

We are looking for a team player with excellent project management skills and significant experience in internal and change communications, including developing and delivering ambitious strategies to support complex change projects.

 

You will have a proven track record, within successful transformational programmes, of creating and delivering effective and strategic project communications and managing the communication process throughout the lifecycle of a project.

 

Your tenacity, creativity and positive can-do attitude and strong influencing and problem solving skills will ensure that you provide excellent communications support to senior leaders, and your flexible and adaptable approach will enable you to identify and manage change management risks and issues.

 

Demonstrable professional writing skills for a variety of channels, audiences and delivery mechanisms and a practical, solutions-orientated approach is also key in this role.
