Export Marketing Manager

An opportunity has arisen in our Marketing team for a Export Marketing Manager. Reporting to our Senior Manager Regional Marketing, you will provide marketing support to OGT’s export regions across the product portfolio, undertaking an enabling role to support sales maximisation.

 

Your duties will include:

  • Developing, delivering and coordinating a variety of training programmes such as for new hires, wet lab, distributors and Sysmex regional teams
  • Developing a training programme to cover technical hands-on guidance for FAS, sales/marketing training for commercial functions and ongoing advanced training for example the clinical aspects of product portfolio
  • Sharing tactical activities and product launch information with export regions
  • Providing support for export regions to amend tactical activities for their region and responsibilities, tailoring for different locations
  • Analysing success of tactical activities through monitoring and CRM reporting, suggesting adjustments to drive success in the regions
  • Coordinating literature and conference materials with export regions, including working with Marcomms to ensure brand consistency and compliance for materials developed in the regions
  • Acting as first line of support for marketing enquiries, working with product management and other functions for more detailed information when needed
  • Travelling to export regions to provide marketing support during activities such as Conferences, UGM’s, customer visits, internal training sessions
  • Providing feedback to Product Management for future product development based on regional requirements
  • Collating input from export regions, to develop a picture of competitive landscape and work with product management to respond as required
  • Providing input to the Export Sales Manager to develop a commercial expansion strategy and prioritise regions for focused support

 

You will:

  • Hold a BSc degree or equivalent as a minimum in Biological Sciences or other biological discipline
  • Have demonstrable experience in clinical genetics including NGS and FISH, with the ability to talk the geneticists’ language
  • Have a proven track record in marketing including internationally. It is desirable to have experience working with export regions, including collaborating closely with Sales
  • Be an effective communicator both in writing and verbally with persuasive presentation skills
  • Be familiar with CRM databases with experience in a customer support function, field based and/or technical (desirable)
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities

Regular travel (EU and ROW) is required with this role (c. 40%).
