The Role


Biofidelity is expanding its clinical assay team responsible for the development of molecular diagnostics based on its core technology. We are seeking experienced, ambitious assay development scientists to help us build and validate these assays as we take our technology into the clinic. 


Your role will be primarily laboratory-based, and will focus on the development and validation of new assays and reagents for clinical diagnostic tests. 




With a strong background in molecular biology, you will have a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience in the development, optimisation and validation of clinical diagnostic assays. You will be familiar with IVD regulatory requirements, and will have experience in working under design control and to ISO 13485 standards.


The ideal candidate would have experience in at least one of the following areas:


  • Molecular diagnostic assay development & optimisation
  • Writing of SOPs & IFUs
  • Quality management systems
  • Reagent manufacturing & quality control
  • Diagnostic validation and verification trials
