This presentation will explain some of the ideas, methods and engineering that goes into obtaining great sound in modern televisions. The sound tuning journey – from system design, measurement acquisition, blind testing to sound quality predictions and automation of the sound tuning process.

Kasper Anderson is Senior Acoustic Engineer at Roku’s Aarhus, Denmark, office. He is responsible for the acoustic design of Roku’s audio products, from TVs to streambars and wireless speakers. Previously he held positions at Hansong, Dynaudio, Buchardt Audio and Danesian Audio. He has a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Aarhus University.

This is a joint event between the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Audio Engineering Society.
