The new North East Cambridge District comprises an area of over 160 hectares and includes the land between Cambridge North train station and Cambridge Science Park. The vision is that: ‘North East Cambridge will be a socially and economically inclusive, thriving, and low-carbon place for innovative living and working; inherently walkable where everything is on your doorstep.’
The opportunity here is to transform the area into an innovation district of Cambridge and a showcase for new ideas in smart living. Join us on the day for this exploratory event, brokered by Cambridge Cleantech and Smart Cambridge, to discuss; what our ambitions and objectives could be, what obstacles there might be and to express your own views, ideas and suggestions.

Key themes:

  • Smart City Planning – The Art of the Possible
  • Case Studies: Bicester Eco Town, Dijon, and more

Generously hosted by The Bradfield Centre, Cambridge's hub for tech and deep tech companies operated by Central Working. Our mission is to grow scaleups and provide them with the connections and support they need to thrive. The way we do this is by building a sense of community through human interactions and high-quality events which engage our members and allow for networking.

  • Smart Cambridge – Progress to Date and What Next
