Free NHS Checks - 22/23 February 2022

The NHS are keen to offer free health checks to those working on the Park. The checks are designed to spot early signs of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney and other health issues.

The checks will take place on the Park with 30 minute individual appointments bookable in advance. Available slots are below - if you would like to book one of these slots, please email Kim confirming the time slot you would like to book and that you have read the bullet points at the bottom of this page to confirm you are eligible for an NHS Health Check:

(The room will be cleaned and sanitised in between each appointment).

Before your appointment takes place the NHS practitioner will call/zoom you to take down a few details – please give your consent for us to pass on your email – it will not be used for any other purposes.


Eligibility criteria: 

* You are registered with a Cambridgeshire GP and/or Cambridgeshire resident (not applicable if delivered at regular place of work in Cambridgeshire)
* Aged between 40 and 74 years
* Have NOT had an NHS Health Check in the past 5 years
* Have NOT already been diagnosed or treated for any of the following: Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke, Hypertension (High blood pressure), Atrial Fibrillation, Chronic Kidney Disease, Heart Failure, Peripheral Arterial Disease
* NOT currently on Statins (Medication for high cholesterol) or Hypertensive (On High blood pressure medication
* No need to fast beforehand

We have had a lot of interest in the health checks so bookings will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis.
