In collaboration with East of England Investment Catalyst. Come and watch East Anglia's most exciting tech companies pitch their business ideas in a bid to secure a place in the final of the East of England Investment Catalyst.
The Investment Catalyst programme has been launched to highlight some of the region’s brightest tech stars and help them access the investment they need to fulfil their potential.
Shortlisted companies, drawn from a variety of sectors, have been through a series of workshops to hone their pitches, and will now present them to a panel of expert judges at this event being held at The Bradfield Centre, Cambridge Science Park on Thursday, October 31.
The best companies will be selected by the judges to progress to the final, which takes place at Rise London on November 26. Here the firms will pitch to an audience of the country’s leading investors and get the opportunity to make the connections they need to take their businesses to the next level.
Judging the pitches will be:
Dr Michael Anstey, a partner at investment fund Cambridge Innovation Capital. He specialises in life sciences and has experience in advising multinational healthcare businesses across North America, Europe, India, and Japan
Chand Chudasama, a partner in the strategic corporate finance team at Price Bailey. He and his team engineer how to grow the value and performance of ambitious corporates, funds and disrupters.
Sally Goodsell, director of investment fund Anglia Capital Group. She was CEO of the FSE Group for ten years, where she oversaw £100m of investment into early-stage businesses.
Danielle Rubin, head of region for Barclays Eagle Labs in London and the South. Barclays network of Eagle Labs supports individuals, businesses and corporates to innovate and grow.
