Our favourite Green Badge Guide Murray Jacobs will be back with us in January giving a talk and virtual tour of “Charles Darwin & Cambridge”.

In this informative and entertaining session, Murray will provide answers to questions such as:

Why did Darwin, an undergraduate at Cambridge, say “The three years I spent in Cambridge were the most joyful of my happy life”?

Why did he end up living in three different places in the city centre despite having no plans whatsoever to live in two of them?

What could possibly have made him swear at Mr Harbour and is there any truth in the suggestion that he may have inspired the TV programme “Come Dine With Me”?

Murray is one of the Park’s top presenters – his’ Hidden Secrets of Cambridge’ proved to be the most successful webinar of last year.

With Murray’s unique presentation skills, his enthusiasm for all things Cambridge and his sense of humour, you are guaranteed a good time. You will also have the chance to ask questions during and after Murray’s talk.

Please register on the right and we will send a Zoom link to you nearer to the event.
