There are a number of ways to get running in Cambridge, from clubs and groups, to free routes and meetups.
Jolly Joggers Group
Social, free group runs led by volunteer run leaders for absolute beginners and improvers. The group runs go from the Abbey Pool on a Monday at 10am and the Meadows Community Centre on a Thursday at 9.30am.
Cambridge and Coleridge Athletics Club
Cambridge and Coleridge Athletics Club offers athletics, cross country, fell running and road running sessions for children and adults. C&C also offers wheelchair racing.
Cambridge Running Group
A meet-up group for runners of all ages and abilities to get out and enjoy running with other people. The group caters for everyone: from total beginners, to those training for competitive events.
Run for your Life
Social, free group runs led by volunteer run leaders and catering for all abilities. The group runs go from Cherry Hinton, Cambridge Science Park, Coleridge and the West Cambridge Site.
Coldham’s Common Parkrun launched in September 2018 on Coldham’s Common. It is a free 5k event held every Saturday morning at 9am. Whether you want to walk, jog, run or volunteer at the event, the parkrun community welcomes everyone.
