We were fortunate to receive a grant from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) towards the cost of building the Bradfield Centre.

What sorts of companies are based on the Cambridge Science Park?
There is a restriction on the type of companies permitted access to the Cambridge Science Park. The majority of companies are involved in scientific research and development. A small number of companies directly support our R&D companies.

What accommodation options exist for start-up companies?
For start-ups, we offer everything from a desk at the Bradfield Centre to flexible offices/workshops in the Innovation Centre. Our new BioHub is scheduled to open next year.

When was the Cambridge Science Park first established?
The Park was established by Trinity College in 1970 and the first company Laser-Scan moved on site in 1973.
