As you may have seen, machinary are out on the the busway and work is moving quickly on the new cycle path, which will run from Milton to Swavesey. However, many cyclists have already started going on the freshly laid cyclepath (not yet hardened), which caused permanent tyre marks on the still soft black surface. This meant contractors had to fix and reroll the surface, which takes time away from them finishing up . To speed up the process and let the contractors get to work finishing the cycle path, PLEASE STAY OFF THE BUSWAY until further notice. We are hopeful for an opening date soon.
