One of the leading manufacturers of speciality lamps for industrial and cosmetic applications… As part of our continuing development and re-organisation, we are looking for an experienced Stores Person for Finished Goods.  The position is primarily responsible for the timely despatch of Finished Goods.

Starting salary £18,000 and good benefits.

DUTIES include:

• Management of weekly cycle counting
• Weekly preparation of customer orders for picking
• Daily collections from factory with lamps to be booked into stock
• Review management of stores layout, dead stock etc.
• Participation and support in monthly sales meetings
• Participation and support in monthly CAR meetings
• Assist in other warehouse duties as required

 EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a warehouse/logistics environment ideally within an industrial/engineering environment.
• Good communication skills, fluent in written and verbal English.
• Strong team player but able to work under own initiative.
• Must be fully computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Good standard of English and Maths required.
• Good working knowledge of SAP essential.
• Export compliance experience an advantage
• Clean Driving licence is essential.
