All proceeds from the sale of the 3,000 copies will be donated to the five local charity children’s hospices the Firm is supporting across England and Scotland. These include:
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), Pepper Foundation, ROSY Foundation, Leo’s Appeal at Milton Keynes Hospital and Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).
- Ed Sheeran: Chicken Wraps
- Raymond Blanc: Hot Smoked Salmon
- The Ivy: Twice Baked Montgomery Cheese Soufflé
- Trinity College Cambridge: Burnt Cream
- Art dealer Ivor Braka: Chilli Crab Pasta
- And many more from ‘Bidwellians’, their families and their charity partners
Patrick McMahon, Senior Partner, Bidwells, said,
“Supporting our nominated charities in our 175th year has had a profound and very beneficial impact across the Firm. We’re very grateful to everyone who contributed to Make Me, Eat Me! - a very special collection of recipes which would make an ideal Christmas present.
Please help us raise £30,000 for small charities which do such a brilliant job for local children and their families. Although this is part of a much bigger fundraising initiative, it is probably our highest profile enterprise and something everyone can get involved with and enjoy.”
Make Me, Eat Me! can be bought online or in Bidwells.
